Presented to the world for the very first time, the renowned and highly secretive Carmen Thyssen Collection makes its debut in Bologna at Palazzo Albergati, featuring more than 100 masterpieces.
From 9 October 2026, the great masters of the 20th century—from Gaudí to Dalí, including Picasso, Miró, Rusiñol, Mir, Nonell, Togores, Torres-García, Julio González, and many other artists, some of whom have never before been exhibited in Italy—tell the story of an extraordinary era: Barcelona at the beginning of the 20th century, a vibrant city where modern art was born.
